Cowgirl Up for the Bozeman Stampede
The annual extravaganza at the Bozeman Stampede makes for a fun time, even if you’re a city slicker at heart. Dust off your boots and your stetson, and get ready to cowgirl up for the rodeo! You don’t even have to rough it to enjoy this Wild West tradition if you book a room at the RSVP for rodeo weekend. Here’s how to make the perfect Western time this August in Bozeman.
Start Your Stampede Morning Right at the Farmer’s Daughters
The Farmer’s Daughters Cafe onsite at the RSVP has the eats to fuel any cowgirl’s day. Get your sips on with smoothies and hand-crafted coffees, or go for something a little more substantial if grab-and-go just isn’t going to cut it for your rodeo day. But you know you’re dining at the peak of the health food scene, so there’s no reason to feel guilty if you snag a keto muffin or another goodie off the menu
Combine Western Wear with Boujee Boutique
Since the action starts at 7pm each night of the stampede, you can go for a Bozeman shopping spree before the rodeo to get your duds in order. Head West should be your first stop for Western Wear, but it doesn’t hurt to check out some of the other boutique shops in town too. You never know what designer treasure you’ll uncover for post-stampede. Speaking of boutique, you’ll want to book your room at the RSVP in advance since all the cowboys and gals will be ready to ride and want to stay in luxury this weekend, too.
Get Ready to Rodeo
This year, the stampede will be held on August 8, 9 and 10. You should purchase your tickets in advance to snag one of the limited spots available for the Hospitality Room, Bozeman’s best stampede hangout. With a bar, swag and table seating, mix and mingle before you head out to the general admission seats with unbeatable views of the action. You can also get an up-close look at what’s going on with the 10-by-12-foot screen projecting live.
The Bozeman Stampede brings together all the rodeo classics into three wild nights. We’re talking barrel racing, bull riding, calf roping, steer wrestling, breakaway and more. These are the skills that cowboys have used out on the range for time immemorial, and now we get to see them work it up close at the stampede.
Hit the BZN After Party
After the events wrap up for the evening, hit the after-party for live music, cocktails and plenty of dancing. Get ready to shake it while you mix with Bozeman society. This is the best time under the Big Sky!
Come “Home” to Chillax
A room at RSVP can feel like your Bozeman home, with luxury bath products, silky kimonos to slip into after an in-room spa pampering, and opulent sheets to slide between. You’ll go gaga for design elements sourced globally, and a lot of love thrown in locally. This is the best treatment for a weary cowgirl, but if you’re not done in just yet, slip into something cozy and spend a little time by the outdoor fire pits. Soak in the stars while you chill in the courtyard. Click here to book your room for the stampede!
