Bozeman’s Second Annual International Film Festival Comes to Town

For the second year in a row, Bozeman is playing host to one of the most exciting events our little town has to offer. From June 6-9, the Bozeman International Film Festival will be gracing our community!

This year’s festival will be hosting a whopping 70 films from talented directors both around the world and from the heart of Montana. They’ll screen in a handful of different theaters throughout town over the span of the four-day event. But this is more than just a few screenings. The event is also filled with all sorts of community events such as Q & A sessions, panel discussions, community-wide events, and parties. Additional events include the Opening Film and Reception on Thursday, Family Free Night on Saturday, and Awards Ceremony and Filmmakers Brunch on Sunday.

The Mission

The Films

The films that have been collected to be showcased are truly heart-stopping. There truly is something for everyone in this assemblage. Viewers can find films to make your adrenaline race in pictures like The Last Beyond, deep dramas like The Etruscan Smile, or charming animated works of art like Two Balloons. There is a special niche of films that are specifically reserved for Montana alone that are especially near and dear to us. These films tackle complicated issues like rural hunger, conservation, living with wildlife, and more.
